Thursday 26 September: Parisima, a strategic talent advisory and delivery business, is pleased to announce that it has won B2B Small Business of the Year and Business Leader of the Year, Kain Clark-Darby, at the prestigious Gulf Capital SME Awards 2019 held last night at the Ritz Carlton, DIFC, Dubai.
The judges stated that Parisima’s extraordinary growth, its client retention and staff engagement contributed to their decision. Parisima is one of the one of the very few companies in the industry that works internationally and brings money back into the UAE. 40% of revenue is generated outside the country and brought back into the UAE economy. This means Parisima is genuinely creating jobs and bringing in foreign direct investment (FDI).
Speaking about the awards, Kain Clark-Darby, Managing Director, Parisima said, “Congratulations to all the finalists and winners.
“With such formidable company in each of the categories, we are honoured to have been recognised for these two awards at Gulf Capital Awards 2019.
“We believe we have set a new standard in an industry that has suffered from a reputation of poor service levels and has, at times, fallen short.
“I would like to congratulate all of our people for their hard work and commitment – without them, these awards would not be possible.”
Over 300 entrepreneurs and SME business leaders registered for the 7th edition of the awards resulting in 86 companies making the final short list across 16 categories. The awards are organised by MEED, in collaboration with founding partner Gulf Capital since its inception in 2012, to recognise the UAE’s SME’s, business leaders and entrepreneurs for innovation, growth and success.
Parisima was shortlisted for five categories at this year’s awards: Gulf Capital Business of the Year; B2B Small Business of the Year; Business Leader of the Year; CSR Programme of the Year and People and Cultural of the Year.
